The Delaplaine Arts Center, 40 South Carroll St, Frederick, Maryland, announces the 2017 Annual Juried Exhibit. All media are eligible, including but not limited to: painting, printmaking photography, ceramics, drawing and sculpture. Size restrictions, no more than 25 feet in any direction. About the juror: Laura M. Augustin is a curatorial assistant at the Smithsonian American Art Museum. She holds an MA from George Washington University. Ms. Augustin primarily works with the permanent collection, building on curatorial research and working to make it more publicly accessible. She is also heavily involved with coordinating installations in the museum's permanent collection galleries.
