About the Exhibition The Delaplaine’s National Juried Exhibition is an annual show featuring works in a variety of media by artists from around the region and nation. About the Juror:
Schillica Howard is an Assistant Professor of Museum Studies at the Corcoran School of Arts and Design. Schillica has worked primarily with African American collections, museums, and cultural institutions as a curator, collections manager, and registrar focusing on preserving marginalized narratives. Outside her academic responsibilities, she is actively engaged in professional networks, including the Collections Stewardship Professional Network of the American Alliance of Museums (AAM) and is a founding member of AAM’s Identity, Diversity, Equity, and Accessibility Committee.
