Monochrome


SE Center for Photography Greenville SC

Monochrome photography, images produced with a single hue, rather than recording the colors of the object that was photographed. The SE Center is looking for all forms of Monochrome imagery, black-and-white and toned photography- all subjects, analog, digital or antique processes, photographers of all skill levels and locations are welcome.

Our juror for Monochrome is Del Zogg. Independent photographic curator, writer and consultant, Del was the Manager, Works on Paper & Photography Collections and Study Center at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, and Senior Catologuer at the George Eastman House, International Museum of Photography & Film in Rochester, New York. He is a frequent panelist on photographic issues and portfolio reviewer. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the Rochester Institute of Technology, and a Master’s degree from Syracuse University. His photographs are part of the permanent collection of several museums, and held in numerous private collections.

35-40 Selected images will hang in the SE Center’s main gallery space for approximately one month with the opportunity to be invited for a solo show at a later date.
