Maryland Federation of Art (MFA) invites all artists residing in the United States, Puerto Rico, Canada and Mexico to enter its annual Art on Paper competition. Excluding digital photography, any original 2-D or 3-D work created on or of paper including but not limited to, collage, artist book, origami, printmaking, painting, sculpture, analog photography, and more, will be considered by the juror. Works selected will be on exhibit in MFA’s Circle Gallery from April 2rd to May 1st, 2021. Show chair is Candice Bigelow.

Juror: Paul Glenshaw, Smithsonian Institution
Paul Glenshaw is an artist, filmmaker, author and educator with more than 25 years’ experience working across disciplines in the arts, history, and sciences. He is Art Instructor and lecturer at the Smithsonian Institution where he teaches drawing: perspective, object drawing, and drawing in museums. Clients include museums, magazines, foundations, government, universities, and arts organizations locally and around the country. In addition to art, writing, films, and education, his projects include primary research, exhibit design and content, photography, media production, and STEM education.
