We are pleased to present the selections for the Frederick Camera Cliques’ 29th Annual Juried Exhibition. Making selections was extremely challenging for our jurors, Karen Messick and Stephen Walker, due to the amount of excellent work submitted. With over 340 images from 48 photographers, unfortunately many great images did not make the final selection.

For those selected to this year’s exhibit, the Frederick Camera Clique is honored to be showing each and every artists work.

Exhibition Opening

The exhibition will be run from July 11 to September 2, 2015 at the Mary Condon Hodgson Gallery at Frederick Community College, 7932 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, MD (301) 846-2513. The Opening Reception will be held Saturday, July 11th, from 5 – 7 PM, we hope to see you there.

Directions for accepted work

The next step in the process is to have print(s) of your accepted images made and properly matted and ready to frame. We use standard 16x20 frames and your matted prints must fit in these frames (not thicker than about 3/8” or greater than 16”x20”). Prints of the accepted photos must be at least 7 inches in the longest dimension. Photos must be mounted with a backer board (foam, cardboard, mat) in order to protect the photographs and improve the display. Mats may be of any color, though white, off-white, and black mats are recommended unless a colored mat strengthens the image. Un-matted photos or framed images will not be accepted.

Important Instructions - Please Read

1. Please label the back of the matted print with your name, title of the work, contact information and if for sale the price.
2. Works offered for sale must remain on display for the duration of the show. No commission will be taken by the Clique on sold photos, however a commission of 25% will be taken by Frederick Community College.
3. The Artist Angle ( http://theartistangle.com) offers Camera Clique members the following prices for mounting and matting your prints. The mats are acid free and may be white, cream or black. Prices are for the mat, backing and mounting (16x20 of course). A 4ply matting is$12, a 6ply matting is $15 and an 8ply matting is $19
4. Once you have the prints matted you may drop them off at The Delaplaine Saturday June 20, from 11am - 1pm, Saturday June 27, from 11am - 1pm or Wednesday July 1, from 6pm - 7pm.
